Oil on Landscape is an environmental project about man's consumption of fossil fuels and the pollution it causes. This series of images featuring petrol digitally layered over landscape creates a number of juxtapositions such as the combination of natural beauty and pollution-causing petrol. Further contrasts can be found in the alluring colours of the petrol itself. There is a beautiful, painterly aspect to it and yet it refers to the ugly truth of our environmental situation.
